Your first migration in 15 minutes

DatMig migrates your work data from one platform to another through a single guided wizard. This walkthrough takes you from a empty target platform to a finished test migration in about fifteen minutes.

Before you start

• You need read access to the source platform and write access to the target platform.
• Get API access keys for both the platforms, so that DatMig can read the source and write to the target.

The four steps

• Connect: sign in to both platforms with an API token.
• Select: pick the source and target spaces to migrate.
• Map: confirm how statuses, fields and users land in the target (sensible defaults are filled in for you).
• Run: start the migration and watch each item migrate across live.

Start small

For your first migration, choose a single small space or board. You will see exactly how your data lands in the target, adjust any mappings, then run the full migration with confidence. Every object is counted as it migrates, so you always know where you stand against your plan's limit, and a small test costs only a handful of objects. You can also start a large migration and cancel it after a few objects are migrated, then validate how the data lands in target before committing to the full migration.
